Obituary for Norman Sanford Barager

BARAGER, Norman Sanford passed away peacefully of Thursday July 7, 2016 at Norfolk General Hospital in his 65th year. Loving husband of Barbara, dear father of Jamie Lynn (Gord) Mandryk of Paris and Patricia (David) Groat of Simcoe. Proud grandfather of Aidia, Owen, Braunsen and Harrison. Fondly remembered by his siblings Gerry (Jenny) Wathen and Roy (Cindy) Wathen all of Alberta, Doug Wathen of Windsor, Willy (Kay) Wathen of Ohio, Pat (Aquila) Basque of New Brunswick, June (TJ) Lewis, Val Wathen and Debbie (Lee) Wilson all of Windsor, and father-in-law Bill Sinden Sr. of Port Dover. Predeceased by his parents Roy and Barbara Wathen. Norm spent most of his life on the lake as a commercial fisherman, in his spare time he enjoyed woodworking and spending time with family. In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held in memory of Norm at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to THOMPSON WATERS FUNERAL HOME 102 First Ave Port Dover (519)-583-1530. For those wishing, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
